More about
Alan Rutter
Product management has become the dominant methodology for developing (and maintaining) new products and services. It relies on getting constant feedback from customers and key stakeholders – but what happens when those different groups don’t agree, or aren’t happy with the process? In this Jolt we’ll look at the common human problems that come up in product development, and how to manage them effectively. This Jolt is for anyone who is moving into a product-focused role, or has become involved in product management recently and is looking to deal with stakeholders more effectively.

Questions this talk answers:

01

What is a product stakeholder, and what are their different needs and motivations?

02

What common problems occur, and what are the best ways to deal with them?

03

When conflict happens, how do you get product development back on track with an agreed roadmap?
