When you first turn freelance or start running a business, it can be incredibly daunting to set your own prices. How do I know what to charge? What is 'market rate' if there's no-one doing anything similar? What if I ask for too much, or too little? What if I get it wrong? In this session, you will learn the methods Sarah has developed to settle on a price and quote with confidence. You will consider the different aspects that come into play when you're paying a price, and learn to trust your intuition more when finding a price that works for you. We will also discuss the idea of a 'Fair Exchange' and the impact of quoting too high or too low on your services. Lastly, we'll take comfort in the fact that you don't have to get it right first time, that pricing is an iterative process, and it will get easier over time! This Session is for freelancers or business owners who need to set prices for their work.
